ABSTRACT
The effect of some environmental and physiological factors on
reproductive parameters ofMugH capito in Egyptianfishfarm has been
studied. Long photoperiodicity and high temperature had a negative
effect on the gonads of MugH capito during the breeding season
(winter). The change in salinity did not shift the frequency distribution
curve of the egg diameter to a certain direction. Ruman chorionic
gonadotropin (ReG) had a stimulating effect on the gonads ofMugU
capito within the first week of the injection. The spermatozoa
concentration and the volume was affected by the dose ofthis hormone.
