ABSTRACT
Data for length-weight relationships, age and growth were analyzed for Epinephalus
tauvina in the area of the Arabian Gulf. Total length ranged between 24 cm and 97 cm and
the gutted weight from 200 to 14550 gm. The length-weight relationship was determined
for combined sexes (W = 0.0082 L 3.12). Age was determined by scale readings. Growth in
length was expressed by Von Bertalanffy growth equation. Growth constants of VBGF
were (L∞ =136.26 cm, K = 0.059, to = -1.68 year).
