ABSTRACT
The solubility ojgypsum in the presence (!! metal ions C!! copper, cadmium,
zinc and lead in sodium chloride solution O. 7A1 and seawater has been studied.
711e solubility decreases in the presence (!f metal ions in both media in the
order eu’ Cd > 2n’ Ph. The reduction in solubility ojgypsum is greater
ill seawater than in sodium chloride solutioll alld can be intelpreted by the
adsOlption (!! metal ions on the sm.face (?!gypsum clystals.
