DISTRIBUTION OF SOME HEAVY METALS IN LAKE BUROLLUS, EGYPl’.

ABSTRACT
Concentrations of dissolved heavy metals (Zn, Cu, Pb,
and Cd) and their variation with location and with time of
year, in Lake Burollus, were determined in the period
between March 1987 end March 1988.
Average values in ppb (ug/L) of these concentrations f ..’r
the whole Lake were 5.50, 2.34, 1.92 and 1.61 for Zn, Cu,
Pb and Cd respectively. Concentrations decreased in 8
westward direction acr08S the Lake.
